We IBD in one minute
Video transcript (on-screen text)
- Your IBD, finally clear. Stools, meals, a report for the GI doctor: everything stays on the phone.
- Your meals, in two taps. Your usual foods are suggested, and "Same as yesterday" takes one tap.
- Foods to watch. Spotted from the patient's own history. A coincidence is not a cause.
- Your IBD, finally clear. A clear indicator, inspired by Harvey-Bradshaw and the partial Mayo score.
- Light by day, dark by night. We IBD follows the appearance of the phone.
- Log a stool without typing. Tap the Bristol scale, the blood, the pain. Done.
- Show your pain. Tap the colon diagram: the area and intensity are recorded for your doctor.
- The report for your GI doctor. Factual, as a PDF, built only from what was logged.
- The data stays with the patient: it stays on the patient's phone, no account, no ads, not a medical device.
- We IBD, by wewe apps. Available on iOS and Android.

What you can track
The things that actually come up in a consultation: logged in seconds, from your device or Apple Watch.
Stools
Frequency, the Bristol scale, blood, urgency and night-time episodes: the everyday signals that matter, captured without fuss.
Food & meals
Log what you eat and let the app surface your personal patterns with simple traffic-lights: ๐ข fine, ๐ก sometimes, ๐ often, ๐ด always an issue.
Pain, sleep & energy
Abdominal pain, fatigue, stress and sleep: the context that explains a rough day as much as the food does.
Weight & medication
Keep a simple record of weight and of when you take your treatment, so nothing gets lost between visits.
Flares & remission
Mark the start and end of a flare, its severity and suspected triggers, and watch how remission builds back up over time.
Lab results
Note key values like CRP and faecal calprotectin so your trend lines tell the whole story, not just how you felt.

Walk into your consultation prepared
The whole point: turning weeks of small notes into one clear picture for your doctor.
- An objective reportGenerate a clean, shareable summary (PDF) of your period (symptoms, food, flares and trends) built only from what you logged. No invented content, nothing embellished.
- A clear overall indicatorA single, continuously-updated view of how you're doing, drawing on recognised self-observation frameworks (Bristol, and disease-activity indices), as a tracking aid, never a diagnosis. No artificial intelligence is involved: published formulas you can check, applied only to what you logged. See exactly how it's calculated โ
- Questions for your doctorKeep a running list of what you want to ask, and note the answers afterwards, so each appointment picks up where the last one left off.
Radically private, by design
Your health is nobody's business but yours. We IBD keeps everything on your device, in an encrypted store: no backend, no telemetry, no data collection. You decide, purpose by purpose, what the app may use, and you can withdraw any consent, or erase everything, just as easily. Lock the app behind Face ID / Touch ID. Optional iCloud sync uses only your own iCloud to reach your other devices.

Why on-device, not cloud
Most food & symptom trackers ask you to create an account and store your logs on a company's servers. We IBD takes the opposite approach, on purpose.
Your data lives on someone's server
An account is required. Your meals, symptoms and flares are uploaded to a company's cloud so the app can sync or "personalize", which means a third party can access, analyse, or lose your health history in a breach, and the data can outlive the app itself if the company changes hands.
Your data lives on your device
No account, no sign-up, no server of ours. Everything is stored locally in an encrypted container. If you enable iCloud sync, it moves only through your own Apple account: we never see it, hold a copy of it, or could hand it over even if asked.
This isn't a marketing claim we could quietly walk back later: there is no backend to build one on. Read the full privacy policy โ
How is We IBD funded? By its full version, which is paid (subscription or one-time purchase). No advertising, no selling of data: there is none to sell anyway, since no health data is ever sent to us.
Frequently asked questions
The essentials before We IBD arrives.
Is my health data private?
Yes. Everything you log stays on your device in an encrypted store, and nothing is sent to any server of ours: no backend, no telemetry, no data collection. Lock the app with Face ID or Touch ID, and erase all your data at any time from within the app.
Do I need to create an account?
No. We IBD works with zero sign-up: no email, no password, no account of any kind. Open the app and start logging: the only optional step is iCloud sync, which uses your own Apple account, never one of ours.
Is We IBD a diagnosis tool?
No. We IBD is a personal self-tracking journal, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose or replace medical advice. Its indicators use recognised self-observation frameworks to help you spot patterns and prepare your consultation. Always discuss any concern with your doctor.
Which conditions is it for?
People living with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis or IBS, or anyone who simply wants to track digestive symptoms. You pick a tracking profile at the start and the app adapts its reference frameworks and tone.
Does my data leave my device?
No health or symptom data leaves your device. Optional iCloud sync travels only through your own encrypted iCloud to your other Apple devices: never our servers.
Is it available?
We IBD is on the App Store and on Google Play. It works fully offline, needs no account, and your health data is never sent to us.
